H.H. Holmes
Holmes, the owner of a pharmacy and hotel building is a psychopathic doctor, who looks for poor needy women to slaughter. Designing the building himself to create the utmost enjoyable easy kill, with secret passages and tunnels through every room. He is a serial killer from New Hampshire who moves to chicago just years before the construction of the fair. Holmes uses his looks and psychopathic manipulative skills, charm, and deceit to commit several crimes, such as: murder, insurance fraud, and theft. He prays on women just settling into Chicago, women who are vulnerable and alone, but his blue eyes and the way he handled them captivated them, and soon would lead to their deaths. Murdering: Gertrude Conner, Julia Conner, Pearl Conner, Benjamin Pietzel, Emeline Cigrand, Minnie Williams, Anna Williams, Howard Pietzel, Nellie Pietzel, and Alice Pietzel. The question is...how long can one pursue something until the point where someone must note the unbearable fact that these girl are all missing, or even dead? Eventually, Holmes's murdering comes to a screeching halt in Philadelphia as a previous arrest for insurance fraud interests detective Frank Geyer into a deeper investigation into Holmes's past.
